There was a bit of ICT use during reading this morning. First, Whero acted out their text for today to produce their own reading resource, My Sister.
I also tried to green screen Kakariki reading their text for the morning, The Frog Princess. Unfortunately, it didn't work, so I stripped the audio thusly...
You would have received a notice about the Cross Country that's coming up this Thursday. We still need some parent helpers to, well, help, on Thursday. Mostly marshalling children, making sure they're running on the right course...and in the right direction...
Any offers of help will be greatly accepted.
Oh, and speaking of the Cross Country, I've just had confirmation that the Year 1s will be running at 11:30, and the Year 2s will be running at 11:25.
One plea from the teachers - PLEASE STAY BEHIND THE ROPES! Sorry, but you may not talk or go up to your children while they are at the quarry.
